So in December 2008 I made a medley remix of In the Heights and posted it on my Youtube channel (scottyrage). Little did I know that it would blow up to be this big. A few days after I posted this I got a message from the show's dance captain. I was excited, and then I received a very cool message from the creator of the show, Lin-Manuel! I also got a comment from the singer at the opening of the song. I later sent Lin an email with the remix.
